Brunch at the marina

I picked Ben up and took him to El Torito.  We had fabulous food, mimosas (Ben also had a very good tasting other mixed drink), and loved the view overlooking the water.

We looked in the stores of Marina Square.

We bought more champagne and orange juice, enjoying it with music, in Ben's room.  We truly enjoyed each other.  We'd dine again in the evening, together.

Shabbat Shalom

Ben picked me up from my home, looking so handsome in his new GAP sweater.  He bought us wine and chocolate.  We said the brachot over the candles, wine, and our challah.  It felt so meaningful.  We enjoyed watching the Hangover 2 and laughed heartily.  Our cuddling and caressing led us away from the film.

We'd wake up next to each other, very happily and have a delicious breakfast at iHop.  Ben and I gave our leftovers to a homeless man.

I'd see Ben again at night, and we'd recall old memories and go to sleep with me telling Ben a story about a king named Ben.  We woke up, cuddling, purring, kissing, sniffing, licking, rubbing, and enjoying soft tunes.

Mid-week Wine

My love visited me yesterday.  Just seeing him fills my heart with joy.  We relaxed in the garden room's loft.  He read a book to me, and we slowly migrated back to the house, where we enjoyed a bit of beverage with television.  We laughed at the potential humor in cooking contests.

I enjoyed him so much.  I loved sending him with delicious food.

A celebratory weekend

Friday night, Ben and I went to Jack London Square.  We ate at a Latin-inspired restaurant called Boca Nova.  Ben dressed in a suit and tie while I wore a skirt and cardigan.  We ordered a Brazilian dish (feijoada), caesar salad, a tamale dish, and we savored desert (fried custard with fruit).  The restaurant amazed us.  Ben complimented the beautiful brickwork by the port.

After dinner we strolled along the corridors of the Clairmont Hotel and had a lot of fun being in such a fancy place.  We would retire in Ben's own bedroom (very happily).

The next day would begin with McDonald's breakfast - which we both really loved!  Ben showed much love in servicing my car.  We would have a fantastic time at the A's game which included a fireworks special.  We admired the fireworks from the field, with friends and my sister.

My very birthday meant us shopping!  We ate breakfast at my parents' house, enjoying conversation with my mom.  We splurged at the Great Mall, in Milpitas.  We had a lot of fun at Dave and Buster's, dining and playing games.

I had the best birthday.  I love, cherish, admire, and respect Ben.  He  continues to impress and amaze me, just by being himself.

Hotel Party Anyone?

I visited Ben yesterday night in Oakley/Antioch.  He surprised me by opening the door with his glasses on.  He drives me crazy when he wears them.

I looked forward to the visit all day long.

Mother's Day

This morning, we picked up matching flower purses for our moms.  They both loved them!  Ben will be spending this next week training in Antioch, while I teach at the preschool and spend time with my family.


We had a great time at the Giants game.  They totally outscored the Braves!  We felt blessed to spend time with a friend from Brazil and Ben's brother.  We had a yummy organic meal and shopped at one of our favorites, Target!
